{"id":345,"date":"2022-08-18T04:53:32","date_gmt":"2022-08-18T04:53:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.hello.hermesdeliverysystem.com\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&#038;p=345"},"modified":"2022-08-18T04:59:08","modified_gmt":"2022-08-18T04:59:08","slug":"ui-ux-designer","status":"publish","type":"awsm_job_openings","link":"https:\/\/www.cedricholdings.co.za\/?awsm_job_openings=ui-ux-designer","title":{"rendered":"UI\/UX Designer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful web design.<br \/>\nCandidate should also have superior user interface design skills.<\/li>\n<li>Design, create, and optimize graphic content for websites, mobile apps,<br \/>\nsocial media and online ads<\/li>\n<li>Craft solutions for layout and styling issues across multiple browsers and<br \/>\nmobile devices.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multi-task and stay organised in a dynamic work environment<\/li>\n<li>Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive<br \/>\nlevel stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards<\/li>\n<li>Passionate about web design and SEO, with a general thirst for digital<br \/>\nknowledge and a significant interest in new emerging technologies<\/li>\n<li>Rapidly prototype and deliver multiple iterations and versions of a design<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years experience building excellent consumer products and knowledge<br \/>\nof web design and maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Expert in UI\/UX with an excellent understanding of layouts, frameworks,<br \/>\ntypography and UX patterns for mobile and web and responsive design<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction<\/li>\n<li>Designing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions<\/li>\n<li>To keep up to date with the latest web design technologies and techniques<\/li>\n<li>Experience with wire framing with great prototyping skills<\/li>\n<li>Effective communicator with a reasonable command of both written and<br \/>\nspoken English<\/li>\n<li>A self-starter having an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to take<br \/>\nownership<\/li>\n<li>Strong online portfolio with relevant experience available for viewing<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with HTML,Html5, JavaScript, and CSS, Responsive design<br \/>\ncapabilities<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, After Effects<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of file versioning tools, naming conventions &amp; W3C<br \/>\nstandards<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of typography, layout and colour theory<\/li>\n<li>Good to have experience in tools like Axure, balsamiq, Invision etc<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in an Agile\/Scrum development process<\/li>\n<li>Presenting all documentation to internal teams and clients.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>jobs@cedricholdings.co.za<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Key Responsibilities Ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful web design.
